First the bad news: this turns out to be Parents' Weekend, so there are NO hotel rooms in Davis. Sorry!
As of now, the closest hotel with availability is the Days Inn, but there's little availability and they've really jacked up the price for that weekend.
Other than that, the best options are Dixon, Woodland, or West Sacramento. Just use a standard hotel search to find availability.
There's quite a bit within 10 miles of campus. The closest to the current Saturday evening festivities would be Dixon, and there are some VERY inexpensive hotels there.
Woodland is also about 10 miles from campus, and closer to the airport.
If you plan to stay a little longer West or Downtown Sacramento might be a better option.
If your standards are a little lower, or you want to team up, there are numerous AirBnB or VRBO options.
