Symposium Location and Parking
Below is a campus map, showing the location of the Physics Building, Roessler Hall, and the nearest parking lots. You can get directions to any lot by typing "Lot <nn> UC Davis" into Google Maps. Parking is free on the weekend, but it's Parents' Weekend, so they may fill up. If you come for Sridhara's talk in Friday and you're not faculty, you'll need to park in one of the yellow lots and use the AMP Park app to pay.
Informal Celebration Friday Evening
Friday evening at 4:30, we will gather for an informal celebration at the G Street Wunderbar, at 228 G Street (see map). Street parking is free in Davis, but it can get crowded. There's a parking lot next to the bar. If that's full and you can't find street parking, there's a free parking garage at 1st and F and a free parking lot at the train station, both close by. Note: The Wunderbar has excellent BBQ (Smoking Ewe), but there are several other options nearby, including vegetarian/vegan, and the bar does not mind outside food.
Symposium Dinner (Ruhstaller Farm)
Saturday evening, we'll have our symposium dinner at Rustaller Farm (see map). It will be semi-outdoor and it may be chilly, so please dress accordingly.
Sunday Morning
Gathering for mimosas and leftover Indian food at Mani's house at 225 Cottage Ct. There's no street parking, so if you're driving, park in lot 10 (free on weekends) and walk along the bike path.
